Hey, this is going to be my first anime con, and i am very excited:)! I am going to cosplay two characters, and i am also going to make amv! Its even better because my birthday is on the 16th 4 days before the con! I am not sure if i should get general addmission or Premium, by march i might be able to afford premium, do you think its worth it? ) ) ) btw my names Ichigo!

This'll be my third time going, which compared to a lot of con-goers, isn't all that much. But back to the reason I posted, by March, from what I understand, Premium might be sold out. I honestly have no experience with it; being poor folk, I always get General Admission. But from what I hear, there's a select number of Premium passes to be given. So it might not even be an option by March. I'm not trying to be a downer, I just want to warn you it's a possibility.

I have never gotten the premium badge for Tekko.  However, I usually attend for panels and spend time with out of town friends. I have not been in main events for years now.

What you need to decide is what do you want to do the most?  I know it may be hard to do if you haven't been before.  Then take what you want to do and compare it to the perks of the premium badge.  Will the premium badge help you with what you most want to do at the con?

I got the premium badge for my first Tekko (Tekko VIII), and while it was neat to be able to get into the Dealer's room early and autograph sessions and all that, it wasn't really worth the extra $20. You're going to get into some of those things anyways, so there's no rush. And if you didn't get into the autograph sessions, it's no big deal because they may have another, or if you're like Vic, you sign a few things in the hallway as you pass by cosplayers. I get the general admission badge now, and tbh, I'm thankful I can even get that sometimes.
