Anyone here gunna be Homestuck for Kfest? I'm shooting to be all Homestuck characters for Kfest, and was wondering if anyone else was going to be cosplaying from this amazing fandom so we could all get our chill on together perhaps :0)

So, here's what my cosplay schedule is looking like so far: Friday- Karkat, Saturday- Sober Gamzee, and Sunday- Human version Eridan. If I can only make it one day (which is a possibility, but I highly doubt), then I'm giong to be Sober Gamzee, and will more then likely come on Saturday.

ONE MORE THING! IF ANYONE IS OR WILL BE COSPLAYING AS ERIDAN OR KNOWS SOMEONE WHO IS OR WILL BE, THEN HIT ME UP! I BOUGHT WAY TOO MANY GOLD RINGS AND HAVE A TON EXTRA THAT I WOULD BE WILLING TO GIVE AWAY TO FELLOW ERIDAN COSPLAYERS!

I literally just started reading Homestuck today, so I probably won't have a cosplay by KFest, but all the luck to ye! I'll look forward to seeing you there.

And I'm pretty sure I can get some decent Doc Scratch together for KKF.
And I really want to.

Basically, you bring a bunch of canned goods, build a can town, and then donate the canned foods to charity. I think it would be really cool if we could do that!

@darkwhitewolf: I love EVERYTHING about what you posted! I have NEVER seen a Doc Scratch at a con, and alskfjsadlfkjd that would be SO cool if you could pull him off before then!

Can Town sounds like so much fun to make and give to charity; but...the space where kfest is going to be held is SUPER small, so where would we be able to build it at? Also, what sort of Charity? I know none located in the Pittsburgh area, so I'm pretty useless. But...this sounds like such an awesome idea <3 and also (since this is a spoiler for EOA5, I'll put it in white text so no one gets upset): we should have a moment of silence for all the Renegades, whether we do Can Town or not.

II've been talking with a few others on the KFest FB page, and I"m not sure how much of a turn out we'll get, buttttttt......I REALLY would like to have a meetup and photoshoot too. If we can somehow do Can Town, this would make for all sorts of fun :')

D'aww, thanks! I hope I'll be able to pull it off; KKF is coming up sooner than I realized, but here's hoping! If not, I might just go as Dave Strider because that's a costume I already have.
There are lots of soup kitchens and food pantries in the Pittsburgh area that would love canned food and really be able to put it to good use. I think Jubilee Soup Kitchen is the biggest? http://jubileesoupkitchen.org/ There's also the Pittsburgh food bank: http://pittsburghdia...Bank/fbank.html
There are a bunch of others, but I think those are the two main ones in the area. We should probably choose one that's fairly close to the location of KKF...
As for where to build can town, how much space we need would really depend on how many cans people bring. If people end up bringing a lot, we could always go outside, I suppose. I've never actually been to KKF before, so I'm less sure than others on how this works and what the space is like...
I also agree on your spoiler-tastic idea. Yes. Yes. A thousand times yes.

Hello, Hamstackers! Friendly neighborhood Vriska here!

If there's some interest, I've been trying to start up some Cantown meets around and I'm glad to see it mentioned here! I'm going to try and keep track of everything on a tumblr 'Pittsburghstuck', so I'll add these in as suggestions there. I don't, personally, live in Pittsburgh. I live about an hour southwest. Delivery to a local Pittsburgh place would be hard for me, but if someone else is willing to take them where needed, that would be great. OTHERWISE, I would be glad to separate and send cans to a few food banks in the surrounding areas closer to me, depending on how many we get here, same goes for Tekkoshocon.

As for space, depending on the weather, we can build it outside. There's a lot of grassy space in the area around the center.

Please feel free to contact me on the tumblr or PM me here with any questions or concerns. I'm kind of flying by the seat of my pants, but I hope we can get a few good meets over this upcoming year. Our area is one that can totally benefit from some good old fashioned charity in the name of the dear Mayor.
