So, I'll be gone from the internet for about a week. I'm taking a trip to Dallas, TX. It's for a meeting hosted by Abbott Diagnostics on the topic of hematology and how to best use their new hematology analyzer. And it will give me a bunch of continuing education credits that I need to maintain my medical laboratory technician certification. I don't really know why the med lab picked me - the new employee - as a person to go, but I'm glad they did. I don't own a laptop computer that I can take with me, so like I said, I'll be gone from the internet for about a week.

WhatTheFact: A kick in the balls is above 9000 del (units) of pain which is similar to giving birth to 160 kids and breaking up to 3200 bones at a time.
Just thought you should know ^^

I have to agree, and I feel that we are turning more into a convention based around bands. (but let me know what you think)

1) Everything happens for a reason. Not only do I believe that of a great many things, I know it for a fact for this thing in particular.
2) Tekkoshocon hasn't called itself an "anime convention" in a good long time. It's a "Pop Culture Convention," and music can move the proverbial needle in Japanese culture as it can in ours.

If it hadn't been for cotton eyed Joe, Rau Le Creuset would have been married a long time ago.
You see, during Tekkoshocon X I dressed up as Cmdr. Rau Le Creuset (Gundam Seed) and participated in one of the mock battles at the Random Battle Group. And as we were battling, the RBG members suddenly started playing dance music and declared that out battle was now a dance battle. I wasn't expecting that. I really can't dance without arrows... I can dance the Caramelldansen and that's about it. Nonetheless, that was kinda amusing.
