Not every game will have a scheduled, official tournament each day. However, they will be available all weekend for play in the various rooms.
Further information on what tournament is when is, at this time, classified...

I wish that was a little less classified, I was gonna set my work schedule around when some of the tournaments were.
2009 TvC Champ (Because Javier wasn't allowed to win)
2010 TvC Runner-up
2011 MvC 3 Winner
2012 SSFIV AE 3rd Place, Street Fighter x Tekken 2nd Place. These don't matter though because it was a joke.

Oh, and sorry for the double post, but will there be prizes? I've won 2 out of the past 3 years and got nothing out of it.

Prizes will be announced at-show. We're trying to secure what we can as fast as we can.
The tournament schedule should be declassified on Tuesday.

So, if I bring my own copy of a game.....say.....Gundam Extreme Vs. would I be able to play it with others or do all of the games played have to come from the con supply?

It would have to stay in your bag, unfortunately, for your and everyone's safety. We need to have an accurate list of everything that's in use in the VG rooms (except the Portable Pit-- we're not gonna have you sign in and out there) in case something gets broken or stolen... not that our attendees would ever do that, mind you, but it's not outside the realm of possibility. By not accepting gear at show we can make absolutely sure that nobody loses a majorly expensive piece.
Plus, stuff brought on the day of the show hasn't had time to be tested and properly cleaned. Remember, Con Plague Is Everybody's Problem .

But if we did brought in our own fighting games (that was on our laptop, with controllers etc) ie: Melty Blood, Touhou Hisoutensoku, would we have another location to play it? Seeing as how the gaming room's rules are a tad strict and confined, though I do understand the dire-consequences of losing one's expensive belongings.

You'd have to vet it with Public Safety. Space on the 4th floor is at a premium so we can't offer you any space there.

You can't use arcade sticks??? What is the point of holding a tournament where people cant even play.

Ok, imagine this. For the TCG/CCG rooms, why are people allowed to use their own decks? These cost more than fight sticks (yugioh decks can easily run upwards of 500), are immensely easier to steal, and yet you still allow the players to bring them and play each other, including in tournaments. Should they not follow the same rules you gave us? Why are you not forcing them to use standardized decks that you provide?
Are people that participate in the pokemon tournaments allowed to use their own pokemon, or do they have to use the stock ones you provide?
This is like giving a drummer, with no other instrumental knowledge, a guitar and force them to play guitar for a show.
This is a great display of the lack of simple knowledge the staff has regarding fighters.
