What recent anime did ya finish watching or are currently watching? I just recently watched Blue Submarine N0.6, Victory Gundam, and am currently in the middle of Nichijou. Victory Gundam is probably the most dark and depressing of all the gundam shows, (That's saying a lot.) Blue Submarine No.6 was short, but it was friggin awesome, and Nichijou is also a pretty funny show as well.

Yoshiyuki Tomino who directed Victory Gundam said this was his most hated Gundam series. In fact, his interview on the memorial DVD Box's initial-printing booklet is entitled "Don't buy these DVDs because you should not watch them!!"

Right now I'm currently watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Mirai Nikki, and Outlaw Star. I really feel extremely stupid for not watching brotherhood earlier when I had the chance, it's a really amazing show. As for manga, I'm currently reading Berserk, Shaman King, and B-Toom. Yep, I'm a multitasker alright.

It's really long and there's not alot of action but the story is incredible!  Well written and voice-acted (even in the dub)
I highly recommend it if you like drama/suspense

Just started Upotte!! and I LOVE THIS ANIME!!! I dont normally like subs.... but i anxiously await new episodes to come out on wed on Hulu.

Quote

A military comedy featuring attractive girls who are actually anthropomorphized guns! The girls are given special characteristics and personalities to match their gun types, and they spend their school days with a firearm in one hand, running rampant and occasionally shooting a boost of energy into their school life!

its a cross between soul eater (sans transformation) and hetalia (slightly less racist haha) because each girl/gun is from a different country.

As a firearms enthusiast i find their facts to be completely spot on, they did their research well. The way the personifications based on the weapons characteristics is really cool too.

Bottom line is if you like girls, and guns, and borderline hentia at times (theres some grab-assing... and grab-boobing too) then you will like Upotte!! however if you are looking for an angsty plot with heart wrenching tear jerking moments.... not happening. its just a fun animie.

It's available on Hulu & Crunchyroll. Hulu is at episode 7, CR at episode 10
