I just realized that pre-reg closes at the end of the month and, as far as I know, e-mails haven't been sent for table payments yet.

Should we be purchasing our badges or wait until the table payment requests come? When can we expect to be receiving those?

Hey, go ahead and pre-register (i'll be sending out an email in a little bit with more info), and you are correct that table payment invoices have not been sent yet :)

i've also got 2 panels in, and haven't heard back whether they're accepted or not yet, and panelists are, or at least previous yeard have been, comped their badges, so this poses a quandry for da miche.  if i have to prereg normally, do i get a refund if the panel acceptances go out and i'm in?  i know either way i still have to pay for the table, but this is all a bit confusing playing a waiting game to see who goes first and what to do.

Ahh I received an email with the table information but not the payment option itself. Just to make sure i havent missed anything no one's paid for their tables completely yet right? ;w; I'd hate to lose my table just from a missing/unseen link.

You haven't missed anything yet, table payment invoices should be coming along shortly :)

Since there's less than a month left and still no invoices, I propose we just pay for the tables when we sign in. (:
That would be easiest... for me anyway. Lol.

Any word on how much they're going to be though?

i got mine, as did a couple others, drop the person in charge a note and see what's up would be my suggestion.

Hello!  I'm late to the party--I had assumed that we'd have a chance to buy our badge alongside our table payments.  I was wrong on that, and that's fine, but when I preregister through the website, should I be marking anything in particular so that my artist has an AA approved badge?

Some shows make the artists have special badges or stickers or flags so that staff knows who's allowed in the alley during set up hours.  Just checking that I didn't miss something else.

Sorry to double-post, but now that I've clicked the still-active PRE-REGISTER banner, I see that I missed pre-reg by a week or so.  Ha!  Joke's on me.

New question, then:
What should my artist do when he arrives at the show to set up and needs to buy a badge?  Does he need to tell the registration folks anything fancy?  Should I have a table number/transaction number/proof of AA-ness to give him to make his pay-at-the-door badge registration smoother?

You will need a special artists badge, but since you didn't pre-register, you will have to go register before you can pick that up, he will need to tell the registration people that he is an artist..

Email me at kandice.hartner@ tekkoshocon.com with the names of everyone who didn't pre-register so I can send a list over to the registration head as a heads up so they can keep a certain number of artists badges with them, as everyone who already pre-reged will be picking up their badges directly from me in the artists alley. Also, proof of your table payment wouldn't hurt either :)

My fiance' and partner in artist alley is also a panelist.  I am concerned because he was told today that because he has a panelist badge, he cannot be in the artist alley to help me set up and tear down, unless we buy another badge.

I had major back surgery in August, and though I no longer suffer debilitating pain, I cannot lift heavy things.  He also is the one who knows how to set up my table shelves as they are his layout and design.  He will be behind the table with me 95% of the time artist alley is open, and will be carrying the heavy loads, staying behind the table to allow me breaks, etc.

It seems odd that he would need two badges.  Could we please allow him to be there with me for set up and tear down?  It really is essential for me, and we really can't afford another badge, especially now that pre-registration has closed down.

We had emailed the artist alley head before table payments were even invoiced to let her know that he was a panelist and would need to have access for my table, but had not heard back until the Panel Head contacted him today.

Please let me know what has to happen so we can plan appropriately. Thanks!

Oh, by the way, I did email the artist alley head to advise...but I did pay for the table and my registration already.

Email away!   You now have record that KEVIN BOLK will pick up (and pay for) his badge at the main registration tables.

I also emailed you last night with our revised 'bio' for the web & program books.  If you have a moment, could you please confirm that that came through?
