Here are some answers to questions we receive often.
- Wednesday, March 21: Preregistration pickup and screenings at the Hollywood Theater in Dormont starting at 6 PM. You do not have to attend this event to pick up your preregistration. You may pick up your preregistration at the hotel Thursday-Sunday in the registration area. There is no prereg pickup at the hotel on Wednesday.
- Dealer booths and Artist Alley tables are sold out! We encourage you to watch for information on our sister shows, the Sangawa Project and the KuroKiiro Festival.
- For parking, http://parkpgh.org/ has a map of downtown parking with rates and information including current capacity. They have an app for iPhone and a mobile optimized website for other smartphones.
- Premium badges are sold out. Regular preregistration is $45 and available through Wednesday, February 29th. Register online at http://ennect.com/e1707 or print out a form to postmark by Wednesday 2/29 at http://www.tekkoshoc...gistration.html
- General Admission passes are available at the door for $50 and are good for any or all days. Wednesday-Thursday only and Sunday only badges will be available at lower rates. If you preregister you are paying no more than you have in the past, only if you just came Saturday. Remember, we are unlike comic cons and toy shows. We are more like a conference, with TONS of programming that is free to you with your admission! Only a small part of our show is paid for by dealer and artist tables. We need your registration to fly guests in, give them a place to stay, print badges and program books, rent the great stage lighting, projectors, and sound equipment, and of course rent the space where the event takes place.
- Please bring a photo ID to pick up your registration. Student IDs, learners' permits, driver's licenses, passports, and military IDs are examples of photo IDs you might have. If you have questions please contact registration (at tekkoshocon (dot) com.
- A full schedule is not yet available as fluctuating guest itineraries and panelist availability cause several revisions to the schedule before a final copy is released. What we can tell you: Dance Competition on Friday; Masquerade, Dance, and Japanese bands on Saturday. Dealers and Artists, panels, gaming, main events, cosplayers, guests, and fun all four days. Some guests will not be present all days.
- We are not at the DLLCC because it is not affordable to put on a quality show there unless we also partner with the Westin (attached hotel). The Westin only wants us back if we can prove that we fill over 250 hotel rooms on both Friday and Saturday nights. Want to go back? Please support us!
- Our guest roster for 2012 is complete. We welcome suggestions for 2013 here and on our forums (where they're much more likely to be seen)
