Please put all CCG Department feedback here!

Hello from one of the CCG Department heads!

We had a lot of new programming this year and I know alot of you didnt make it to the CCG Feedback Panel.

So i am taking input about this year on the forums. Come on in, tell us what irked you what we could do better, and if there is still time let us know what we did right.

Thanks!

I think Lord Du...Trae and company puts on one of the premiere CCG/Tabletop settings on the convention circuit.  I don't think you're going to find as much width and breadth of gaming as you do at Tekko, and that is super awesome.

Being stuck on the 4th floor was probably a blessing in disguise, because you could actually have a bunch of things going on at once without having sound bleed.  The only real problem I saw was the lack of consistent room assignments, but I'm thinking that's a site problem more than anything else.

The only thing that I was really disappointed with was the lack of Heroquest among the library.  It had been hinted at by others, but apparently was not to be had.  Still, that's a small thing, and one only slightly beyond the bounds of anyone's control, so I won't hold it against you guys =)

Thanks to my dear friends Ed Burke and Jason Blankenship for making me psuedo famous, although not how i intended. Thanks for the Accolades. Also the room setup was a little odd this year, part of the room assignment changing was due to the overwhelming popularity of Tekkoshodown, we ended up having to give them one of our rooms. Also we had a last minute addtion to the floor in the form of a vendor, who also took one of our rooms, though we loved having them the space constraints after those to things made things a little hard. Next year i am going to try super hard to make sure the schedule im going by and the schedule the con published is the same.

Thanks everyone!

We do have a copy of HeroQuest available, I just wasn't aware there was interest in it being there at the con or I'd of made sure it was in the library.

Would it be possible to have it present for a future Tekko? =D

I'll add it to the list for consideration.

Yes. Go would be a fine addition, preferably with an introductory clinic.

Back around Tekko V or so we had a Mahjong panel which was very well-attended, so I don't think it's too far off the grid. (Especially given that it's an anime con and all.)
