This was my third year going to Tekko and once again I had a blast!

The concerts were amazing. Exist Trace made my weekend! Please keep bringing in Japanese bands!

I also got to live out a childhood dream, meeting Zordon. I don't even have words for how cool that was.

I think the crowd control was better this year. Only problem was some of the people manning the stair wells were a little rude. Specifically a heavy set tall kid. We get it, keep to the right, no need to yell it.

I also would have liked to see more manga in the dealers room. Found some really cool stuff there but the manga was seriously lacking. And artists alley was CRAMPED! Huge shame they lost the space they were in last year.

Another thing I think that would be nice is if the schedule marked which events were closed off. Obviously the autographs get closed off after a certain amount of time, but I didn't know the charity auction was. My friends and I would have made an effort to be on time. Also didn't help that the staffer (short with brown hair, kinda overweight) who was outside watching the door was really rude. When I got to the door she was freaking out on a handful of people standing off to the side.

I saw another issue with a staffer when I was walking up the stairwell on my way to the dance. A girl with short hair and glasses said really loudly to a girl in front of me "Your tauros is hanging out. You need to go up to your room and change or your losing your badge". This girl broke down in tears and really, compared towhat some other people were wearing I don't think it was that bad. Her shorts weren't excessively short and the rest of her was covered up.

So it couldn't hurt to teach the staff members some manners!

Other than those few incident, I had an amazing weekend and can't wait for next year! Also really hoping we get to go back to a certain place since I know the Wyndam's officially done and over with!

The sad thing is that all staffers are given staff training on how to behave and it seems like some people decided to disregard that. I'm sorry that they were that rude to you and others. You should have been able to report them to con ops because staffers aren't except from the rules either and we can get our badges punched too. Maybe you can email Jeanie or Allison a description of the person (particularly the last two you mentioned) and the situation so they know to maybe not bring the person onto staff for next time.

I have a feeling this was me. To which I will say:

I am very VERY sorry that I left such a bad impression.

The charity auction was, in actuality, -NOT- closed off. I'm sorry that you had that impression! I was not actually staffing the auction, in fact, I was handling those people standing off to the side (that I was, by appearance, freaking out on). If I misspoke or mistreated you in any way, shape or form I am very sorry. The auction was not my responsibility and I apologize for dropping the ball here. It was never my intent, and knowing that this is how I came off has me personally disappointed in myself.

Sadly, there really wasnt anything we could do based upon space for the dealers and AA tables, it was either put them there or not have them at all, and well, we cannot have that now can we.
Next time If you see a staffer behaving in a manner that you feel personally attacked like that, or see it happening to another person, TAKE a very descriptive note of that person and take your information to a staffer like; Phil Snyder-Head of Security or Allison and they will fix the situation as they see fit and FAIRLY.

As For Doodler; I know her personally and she is super nice and very sweet :{ I too an very sorry that her impression was not a good one. I hope you can give her another shot :}
