OK, it is time to kick off this years band wish list!

Let's get some good ones!  We had Exist Trace this year, which a number of people said we couldn't get.  How can we do better?

I honestly don't know many Japanese musical acts.  The only one I really know is Nana Mizuki, and I doubt you'd get her.  I'll make a American musical suggestion instead.

Kate Covington (aka Erutan)

Yes, I know I suggest her every year.  But she just has such a beautiful voice, does every instrument in her songs and has both original and fancovers.

I'd say One OK Rock. they aren't a big band but they have a few great singles and crazy Guitar parts

Asian Kung Fu Generation ( considered by many to be the Japanese Weezer)
Dir en Gray ( Dark and gritty visual kei / death metal)
Utada Hikaru ( a very interesting Japanese-American J-pop Idol)

These three are HUGE so it's not very likely, but then again: Exist Trace was a suprise too.

I of course have my wish list of Japanese bands, but many of them will probably be mentioned, so I'm going a different route:

Can we see about getting The Pillowcases? They're a Pillows cover band, and I missed my chance to see them at Katsucon

I'd really love to see exist trace again (and Rampant and Soundwitch) but those probably aren't feasible at all so how impossible would it be to get...

In my recent search to discover new j-rock bands to suggest I'm finding most of the really awesome ones are disbanded I would love to see Born, and Suicide Ali again would be amazing. I'll keep searching for more good bands. And if you some how develop band reassembling or healing super powers, bring D'espairsray and Phantasmagoria
