I've also seen that Dazzle Vision apparently has their own cyber singer a la Miku Hatsune. That does metal.
This seems relevant to many of our demographics' interests.

Huh. They're more pop than rock, which seems to be more Tekko's niche although they could have changed since the late 90s.
They also did both opening themes for Gundam Wing (Just Communication, Rhythm Emotion) as well as the theme for the OVA (White Reflection). So it's not a stretch to say I'd actually consider buying a premium badge for them.

Whoa, wait, they did the Kiss Dum opening? My happiness increases.

Would be AWESOME, but they did AX a few years ago and they had 16 of the girls (Queen and Elizabeth from Kamen Rider W were there). I personally am terrified to know the cost beyond airfare...
16-20 airfares from Japan... Thank God all 48 wouldn't come... Would be cheaper to charter a plane at that point
Now, if some wonderful organization were to sponsor them, then they would be doable. The other problem is that we are a 3500-4000 person event, with an average of 1000 people at our concerts. Mind you that is a HELL of a percentage when you think about it.
We need sponsors to bring that size of act in. ;-;

I'm liking
A(エース), Ace, Anonymous Confederate Ensemble, whatever they want to be called. I have a big thing for violins/pianos in my rock/metal. Here's their band page and a couple songs:

They technically don't exist anymore.

We've already had them for Tekkoshocon IX so we won't be having them back in the immediate future.

Vocaloid is not impossible. AX had Hatsune Miku... The "actual" Hatsune Miku. Our problem is that, without Toyota sponsoring the performance (Toyota sponsored the vocaloid bit at AX) I'm not sure we could afford the show.

Well, I do know that there is a way we can do our own Vocaloid concert. And I know what program we need. But we need a projector and everything. I understand how to work the program but I wouldn't be able to help, if they need it. I'm most likely hosting a panel, doing the dance competition, and shopping!

The point of this thread is for official musical acts and concerts, not for concerts we could kinda put on ourselves. I doubt we have the money for the technical setup (Including the Pepper's ghost used to display the vocaloids) that was required for the AX show, which was an official vocaloid concert. It certainly looked pricey enough...
