In reponse to the online anime thread.
Some of us don't watch much anime on physical media for some reason or another, so if you want to ask around for stuff that's OOP or not on official sites to watch, start here.

To start off:

I don't mind dark scenarios, but these ones make me tick: post-apoclyptic anything will drop my interest on a scale from 1-10 from 10 to 3.3 (dark reason for that),  Physical cruelty towards characters that are or look young is another no-no, but if the youthful face has no response it won't bug me. Bombarding childhood trauma = never

I like most genres, but I only watch ecchi if there is more plot than predictable jokes like for example Chobits=yes, DearS = definite no (not a big fan of 18+ humor, not every man is comfortable with it),

Funny faces, non-sequitors, mythological references, I like cutesy designs if they have a believable problem (obscure, yet possible issues count) or happy most of the time, magical girls are fun as they make me less angry with real life's problems with heart-warming stories.
