One of my other biggest gripes is about the program book. Please, please, PLEASE supply a map/guide to food in the future. Especially for those that come out of town, like my self, it would of been very helpful. Luckily, I had printed up a guide from Anthrocon's website... that was by far more useful then anything in the program book.

Thank you so much for taking care of the artists this year! I never had so much room to breath in an artist alley before. Thank you for all of the staff's hard work! I can't wait to return for 2014!

One thing I've noticed with Tekko in general, they could really use some help to organize cosplay photoshoots and meetups. Most were done last minute, if any were done at all. If staff could get involved with helping this become a smoother cause, that would be fantastic!

As an artist, I have a few minor things to be said. It was my first year in four years that I've sold at Tekko. Since I had spent all weekend in artist alley, most of the feedback will from an artists point-of-view.
Cons:
Trying to find out how/where we pick up our badge. It took a staffer over 30 minutes on Friday morning to find answers for us. This would help with radios or placing artists badges to be picked up in artist alley when you check in. Please, consider this for future years. It will save everyone less headaches if we can place it all in one place.
I noticed a huge drop in sales from when I sold in previous years (in 2010<). I know that Tekko is still trying to figure things out how to lay things out in the convention center, but the biggest gripe I have is that the artist alley/dealer's room was not on the same floor as programming. I felt like people only came through artist alley to hang out, find people, for the tcg's, or to get to the dealer's room.
Signs. Please post them to help direct them to the artists/dealer's room. Hours. They need to be posted. Both in the room and program book.
Please do not allow anyone into the artist alley/dealer's room before it officially opens. Several of us seemed to be confused when the room "opened" on Friday because people were shopping before 12 pm. I was just happy that I had got there early and had set up when I did because I may have missed a few sales otherwise.
Times. 10 - 10 is a long day for anyone. Most work shifts in any job is 6 - 8 hours. With setting up/set-down every night on top of those hours, it is exhausting. I am happy that we have set times in artist alley, but please only keep them an hour or two open after the dealer's room closes.
Layout was nice, except I felt like that I got skipped over a bit since I was on the end of the island. It seemed that when I walked around artist alley a bit during breaks from my table, I noticed that it felt odd to navigate. Thank you though for putting artists before the dealer's, but it would made it better if there was a way to force everyone through the artist alley before they go to the dealer's room (if that's possible).
Pros:
Thank you for fixing problems so quickly. For instance, the chair issue and the roping off artist alley issue.
Having a staff table in artist alley so we can find staff easily. You will be surprised by how many conventions I've been an artist at who I had to hunt down artist alley heads/staffers because they disappeared after you checked in.
Room. OMG. Thank you for understanding that artists need room and space to breath!
Other then those minor points, everything ran so smoothly. Can't wait to return to Tekko in the future!

I am looking for any pictures of my Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls cosplay! I'm pretty positive that I was the only one ^^;
