Hi! I'm Jeanie. I've been involved with Tekko since way back at Tekko I. Please feel free to ask me about anything Tekko related - I'll answer as best I can.

I'm a big fan of Japan in general. I've visited the country twice and can't wait to go back again. I love the food (mostly - umeboshi and other pickled things really don't do it for me), the trains, the street festivals, the shrines and other surprises around every corner... lots of things! It's weird not being in Japan sometimes because the simplest things will remind me of being there.

My primary fandom is Morning Musume. They are a girl pop group where members join for a few (or several) years and then leave, kind of like a school club with freshmen who grow up into seniors and the like except that they get to do so while singing and dancing live on stage. My favorite member is Aika Mitsui, but I like them all a lot. I've seen them live twice and would like to see them with the new members too! I've also seen their sister group Berryz Koubou and sister artist Erina Mano live.

My favorite anime series is Melody of Oblivion. It was a Geneon release so it's been gone from stores for several years now but it's on Crunchyroll so everyone should watch it anyway. It's done by Gainax, the people who brought you Eva and FLCL. My favorite anime movie? This may sound trite of me, but I adore My Neighbor Totoro. I also really love Howl's Moving Castle.

I love manga, too. Recently I've been reading Dengeki Daisy, Twin Spica, and The Stellar Six of Gingacho. I am also reading Shinjuku Shark, a Japanese detective novel, and I'm really enjoying it! I have several volumes of Yotsuba&, but I'm a little behind - I started my collection while I was in Japan so now I really want the Japanese versions of all of them.
